The Journals

Cover of The Meeting Historian, Large Print Edition, steel blue with a coffee cup

The Meeting Historian — a large-print journal that records the weekly rounds before they are lost: thirty prompts, four pages each, about the rooms, the rides, the coffee, the people on the circuit, and what a lifetime of the pattern adds up to.

Between Meetings — a guided reflection journal for the ordinary days in between; large-print, for the daily work of staying well.

Where to buy: available in paperback on Amazon. Write to us and we will point you to the current listings.

When Your Journal Is Full

A finished journal is yours. Keep it private, hand it to family, or share it with your home group. Any of those is a good ending.

There is one more option. Send it to us and we will transcribe it, review every page to protect anonymity, and print it back to you as a bound keepsake edition. With your written permission, your story may also join a collective volume, so the leads, the memories, and the long weeks of the rooms can outlive the people who kept them.

You choose how your story is signed:

Nothing is printed without your signed permission on the consent form, you may change your mind at any time before printing, and anyone else mentioned in your pages is always made anonymous no matter which option you choose.

You are never included in a collective volume by default. That takes a box ticked in your own hand. Leave anything on the form blank and we use the most protective reading: Anonymous, your keepsake only, and your journal returned to you.

How to Submit

Email us first and we will send the intake kit: the consent form, packing instructions, and the current price for the keepsake service. Payment is due at intake and is refunded in full if you withdraw before printing.

Email: [email protected]

Mail: mailing address provided in the intake kit

Your original journal is scanned on arrival and returned by tracked mail (or securely destroyed, your choice). It is never mailed to outside vendors. If we are ever unable to continue this service, every journal in hand is returned to its writer; a named backup person holds written instructions to do so.

Privacy

A journal like this reveals that its writer is a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and we treat that with care. Scans are stored encrypted and seen only by the people doing the work. Your contact details are kept separate from your story. Nothing you send is used for marketing, shared with third parties, or fed to advertising platforms. This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers.
